Hi Jeff,

Well, I know that Freud went to at least one lecture Twain gave here in
Vienna and the interesting question remains whether they actually spoke to
each other there. There are plenty of comments from Freud about Twain, but
I can't think (off hand) about any Twain made. Our Famous Guest by Carl
Dolmetsch has lots of info about Twain in Vienna. Since it is Freud (as
well as Mozart's) birthday this year, I may get out and talk to some Freud
specialists who know more - but not right now. Don't know if that's much
help, but I'm not close to a library at the moment either.

From Vienna,
Candy Fresacher
