Many of MT's comments in the mental photographs book at Yale are listed, and
discussed, in my book on Twain and spiritual crisis.

His continuing interests in religious themes are betrayed often by these
entries, as in two of my favorites:

  What are the sweetest words in the world?  Not guilty
  What are the saddest words?  "Dust unto Dust"
