I do appreciate Mr. Wiener's forthcoming candor in his recent post
regarding the book MARK TWAIN'S AMERICA by Harry L. Katz and the
Library of Congress (2014). Due to word count restraints, the review
by Kevin Mac Donnell that was posted earlier this month addressed only
a few of the major errors in the book. A corrigenda of over 100 errors
should be posted sometime next week in the hope that it may be of
benefit to any future revised edition or an aid to those who may have
already purchased this current edition. The errors identified will
pertain not only to Mark Twain, but to American history in general.
