folks, that link from Alan did not seem to work for me, so here is the
report in the STLPD:

it's a pretty rough part of town, these days, on the "old northside"; arson
is suspected;

nota bene my university, SLU, has extensive holdings of James Clemens and
his family, including extended family like Cyril, in the archives... there
are mountains of material, some of which I've looked over, but  if any
intrepid scholars are looking for some less well traveled roads in MT
scholarship....
