Good grief; one never knows where Laura will turn up next! Laura: if you're still reading Forum postings these days, congratulations to you--and even more to the Huntington Library for its good fortune in being able to bring you in as its new president. --Jim L.

Subject: friends in high places @ Huntington Library

Do not know if this info has circulated to all the Twainiacs, but the new president of the Huntington is one of our own ... -hb

ps: if you;ve never visited the Huntington I highly recommend it, it's one of the coolest places in all of southern Cal! I was there once, years ago, working on letters of HB Stowe; do not know that they have much in the way of Twain stuff.
