Greetings all:
Hope you're all having a great summer.
I have a request from Ryan's Wells Foundation, which many of you know I
work with for many years ... any leads on how to develop this at low
cost would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Kevin

Hello,
I'm writing to you from the Ryan's Well Foundation in Kemptville,
Ontario. We are a small NGO that supports the building of wells and
water access points, sanitation infrastructure and related education in
developing countries.
For some time now we have been considering the idea of including a map
on our website that would show where water points have been built in
order to connect our donors with the locations where their funds have
been used. We primarily have a youth focus with much of our audience
being children, youth, schools and teachers. The map would need to be
informative for technical and corporate partners but also relate to
youth for educational purposes and interest. Several of us recently
returned from Uganda where much of our work is done. A geotechnical
engineer who was on the trip recorded many GPS points from our well
sites and is currently compiling that information. Beyond that, we
would have only general locations of the 308 water points built in 12
countries to date.
All that being said, would it be possible to get some idea of
information requirements and cost that would be associated with
building a map for our website? We have a small funding grant to get
started.
Any information you could provide would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Julie
