A colleague who writes on the history of sport (especially the
bicycle) asked me if Mark Twain ever met Banjo Paterson, the author of
"Mulga Bill's Bicycle" (as well as of the more famous "Waltzing
Matilda"). Does anyone know?

Thanks,
David
