The letter from Clemens on 10 April 1886 is to Louise Wright
Benjamin, the married sister of William Wright, better known as Dan
De Quille. Mrs. Benjamin has been asking about the inscription over
the Hartford fireplace, which is a quotation from Emerson's essay
"Domestic Life."

Never heard of Emerson.
