Thank you, Shelley.  I agree.  Having seen him now in six
different venues, I can say that it just gets better each time.

To all on the forum: Scott Teems (director of That Evening Sun)
is filming a documentary of Hal's many years performing
as Twain. The crew will be in Hannibal during our
conference (Aug. 11-13) to film Hal inside the
Boyhood Home, etc.  Hal will give a keynote on this
topic.  (Bob Hirst and Barb Snedecor will also give keynotes.
We are excited and grateful to
the other scholars who will present.)

Also, Hal's new book, Harold: The Boy Who Became
Mark Twain, will be out in September. Amazon is
preselling it here:

So, go see Hal perform as often as you can,
and try to come visit us in Hannibal in August.

It is a pleasure  to share Hal Holbrook's performance schedule with his =3D
friends and fans on the Mark Twain Forum. For those of you who may not =3D
seen his show, it is not to be missed; for those of you who have seen =3D
here are some opportunities to see it again. Each show is different from
every other. And each is fantastic. I was at his performance in Marin =3D
