A very Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving to all lovers of this colossus of life and literature.

Some of my friends wish they were born in a much earlier time; however, I submit that if it were too earlier, we might not know of Mr. Twain's very existence.

We can take solace out of this sometimes cold world to know that we live in a time when we can love and teach and learn from him.

Our task is to enlighten the younger children so they will also know and love Mr. Twain for the next one hundred years, just for a start!

Enjoy Mr. C's birthday! I think he has an extra twinkle in his eyes as he is lighting another cigar knowing how we feel about him!
