CDPAC Call for Abstracts - Deadline Extended

We have heard from many of you that the abstract submission deadline
presents a challenge given summer vacations. In consideration of the
situation, CDPAC has extended the deadline for submissions to Monday,
September 12.

The Conference Integrated Chronic Disease Prevention: It Works! will build
upon the previous three successful conferences and focus on how individuals,
organizations, strategies and sectors have collaboratively acted on the root
causes of chronic disease in Canada. Producing the greatest gains in the
health status of Canadians will require continued urgent action to reduce
the inequalities that give rise to chronic diseases.

The conference has six tracks, which will serve as the framework for the
creation of the conference scientific agenda. Those tracks include:

1. Childhood Obesity
2. Emerging Risk Factors
3. Food Security
4. Health Inequities
5. Health Literacy
6. Mental Health
