Hello
I am a first year medical student at McMaster University and am
interested in pursuing a career in International Medicine. Prior to
coming to medical school I practised as a Chartered Accountant and have
graduate school research experience. I am wondering if this course would
be applicable to me? I am also wondering about the cost and any
potential funding.
I am also currently trying to set up a 6 week elective this summer in
Africa, followed by a one year elective starting in March 1996. Does
anyone in your school have ideas/contacts re: hospitals and projects in
Africa? I appreciate any information you may have. If I had an address
of anyone interested in me at McGill, I could sent a cover letter and my
c.v. for their information.
I appreciate your efforts in this regard.
Thanks
DALE
