Just a note for those interested in my progress, I have entered all of 
David Fears' entries up to Mark Twain's return to New York from his 
family's exile in Europe and England.  The site does have additional 
entries but they are incomplete and not systematic.  By the way, I did 
find my copy of Overland with Mark Twain.  It was on the shelf but not 
with the title showing.  I do have a PDF copy of Pond's "Eccentricities 
of Genius",  from Google Books, but it does not have all the amazing 
photographs.
