Facilitator Workshop - Circle of Health

If you would like become more skilled in promoting practical application of
knowledge about the determinants of health in communities, organizations,
and educational settings. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your
facilitation skills! 

 

Day 1 will focus on facilitation fundamentals within community/
organizational contexts exploring holistic health, intersectoral
collaboration and cross-cultural knowledge exchange. There will also be an
introduction to facilitating over the Internet.   

 

Day 2 will focus on using the Circle of Health to engage people with
different learning styles in knowledge exchange, planning and partnership
development. There will be a variety of exercises on applying learning as
individuals and in groups.  

 

The Circle of Health is a values-based planning tool that bridges aboriginal
and western thinking, and brings people together in promoting individual and
community health.  Extensive knowledge about applying this tool in a variety
of contexts has been captured in the new Circle of Health Facilitator's
Handbook, which will be provided to all participants.
