Hi Jerry
There's a nasty scene at the beginning of A Double-Barrelled Detective.
Husband ties young wife to tree, gags her, whips her, then gets his dogs to tear her clothes off!

> I'll be doing a "small read" on the bawdy side of Mark Twain in Sacramento in a few weeks aboard the historic paddle wheeler Delta King. Of course I will include "1601," Speech to the Stomach Club of Paris and a few indelicate references from "Letters from the Earth." Anyone have any other ideas of material I might include? Appreciate your help.
