The Atlantic Summer Institute on Healthy and Safe Communities will host a
one-day curriculum workshop on June 2, 2009 in Charlottetown, PEI.
Foundations for Working Together
Building a Strong Foundation for Resilient Communities

Charlottetown, PEI
This introductory curriculum of the ASI provides the foundation for working
together across sectors and cultures. Using the Circle of Health and
Aboriginal Medicine Wheel teachings, the Foundations workshop examines
holistic determinants of health and the interconnectedness between health,
safety, social and economic, and environmental factors that impact people
and communities. A certificate of participation is awarded to registrants
who complete the workbook activities.
$125 registration fee
includes meals and materials for the day, including a Circle of Health kit
and workbook
