*THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON (RE-)EMERGING INFECTIOUS DISEASES (ICREID)*

The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia, and the Virology Education, the Netherlands, will be
organizing the first International Conference on Emerging Infections
(ICREID) and the threats it poses to global health security.
ICREID will serve as a unique global platform that will bring together
experts from around the world involved in (re-)emerging viruses and
infections in an interactive conference setting.
The ICREID will be Africa-centered focusing on the threats (re-)
emerging viruses and infections poses to global health security and ways
to mitigate their impact.
The conference will target healthcare professionals, researchers, public
health experts and policy makers involved in treatment, research,
discovery and development of drugs and vaccines in the field of emerging
viruses and infections.
