A third workshop will be presented by the NCCMT in collaboration with the
NCCHPP, represented by François-Pierre Gauvin. They will use a
problem-based learning approach to introduce the concept of wicked
problems in public health. The session will explore how the contributions
of an evidence-informed public health (EIPH) approach combined with
deliberative processes can be a successful strategy to work through
complex public health situations. The title of this workshop is Wicked but
Real: Dealing with Complex Public Health Issues Using an Evidence-Informed
Approach. For a workshop description, see page 25 of the Tuesday program
on the TOPHC website.
