I'm happy to share a new technical publication from Pathfinder International, Integrating Family Planning in Primary Health Care and HIV Care and Treatment Services in Mozambique: http://www.pathfinder.org/publications-tools/integrating-family-planning-mozambique.html?utm_source=Techpub&utm_medium=otherlists&utm_campaign=FPItechupdate. This technical update discusses how Pathfinder's USAID-funded Extending Service Delivery-Family Planning Initiative (ESD-FPI) has begun to integrate family planning into existing services, including primary health care and HIV care and treatment in the Maputo, Gaza, Inhambane, and Cabo Delgado provinces of Mozambique. The publication examines the implementation experience and progress to date in health facility and mobile service delivery settings and highlights the contributions-including lessons learned and recommendations for future interventions.
