On January 13, 2015, Ben Griffin of the Mark Twain Papers discussed his
theory that Mark Twain and George Washington Cable were never advertised as
"Twins of Genius" when they toured in 1884-85. What has became a widespread
historical error was the result of their manager James Pond's faulty
memory.
