Hello,
I am trying to put a panel together for

American Humor Studies Association at SAMLA 2015

Topic is

20th century American authors and their other art.

This is what SAMLA wrote up.
The focus of SAMLA 87, In Concert: Literature and the Other Arts, provides the opportunity to develop robust and varied programming, and it is our hope that such a focus will lend itself to a successful promotion of your proposed panel.
