Dear Cathy Crowe and TDRC activists:

Congratulations on 13 years of inspiring activism and advocacy! TDRC
has provided an incredible persistent, effective, collective, and
hopeful antidote to the cynical assault on the most basic of human
needs in Toronto and across the country.

I also want to laud TDRC for depositing your papers in the Toronto
archives so that future generations can understand the debates,
strategies, stumbling blocks, and successes of the TDRC. I hope that
all social justice and health groups will follow this lead so that
activist groups are recognized as important protagonists in this era.

Today (May 14) is the 71st anniversary of Emma Goldman's death, here
in Toronto--an appropriate moment to celebrate TDRC and to remember
Goldman's political commitment and her most beloved saying "If I can't
dance, I don't want to be part of your revolution."

In solidarity,

Anne-Emanuelle
