Martin:  a belated thanks for this great review of a splendid book.  It's
an obvious labor of love.  I've also scanned through the book and read
parts of it; I think it's remarkable that Shelley could cover so much, and
give due diligence to such an impressive list of authors, many of them not
well known.  Kudos to her!!
