Hi Natalie- we don't have such an Advisory group here except for the
Harm Reduction Peer Advisors and their role is very limited. However I
believe Parkdale's PARC would probably have some sort of group and have
experience you are looking for. (did you apply at Shout?)-good luck-d

Hello,
I am looking for advice about building effective advisory groups with
people who have experienced homelessness. The project that I work for
is reorganizing its Client Advisory Board to be more effective. Do
any of you have experience building or sustaining these groups with
consumers/clients/communities and are willing to share this with me?
I am looking for information regarding criteria for selection of
members and providing compensation/honoraria, as well as other points
that specifically relate to engaging people experiencing homelessness.
Thanks,
Natalie
