Hello CLICK4HPers

I am part of a research team, led by Dr. Maureen Dobbins (McMaster
University in Hamilton, Ontario) that is in the process of developing a
methodology for identifying, retrieving, and selecting unpublished
systematic reviews (and other research-based synthesis documents such as
best practices, promising practices, evidence-based practices, and clinical
guidelines) evaluating the effectiveness of public health (including health
promotion and population health) interventions. To facilitate the
development of the methodology, the research team will test out the proposed
methodology on a topic related to chronic disease prevention. Specifically,
this will include all completed reviews evaluating the effectiveness of
interventions to promote physical activity in children and youth.

As part of the testing this strategy, I am contacting relevant
listservs/discussion groups/networks to request unpublished or
semi-published (i.e., not found in published peer-reviewed journals)
synthesis documents (e.g., systematic reviews, meta-analyses, best practice
documents, clinical practice guidelines) related to the effectiveness of
interventions aimed at the promotion of physical activity among children and
youth. I would appreciate hearing back from listserv members in this regard.

Thank you very much for your time and effort in consideration of this
request.

Paula
