An "International Conference on Childhood Obesity: Evidence and Practice
from Exercise Science" will be held by the Department of Sports Science
and Physical Education, Faculty of Education, on November 13 -16, 2008
at the Chinese University of Hong Kong campus. 

The conference aims to provide a platform for cross-cultural exchange of
knowledge and expertise in childhood obesity. The key events of the
conference are keynote presentations, lectures, symposiums, poster
presentations, oral presentations, workshops and seminars. We are
expecting over 300 local and overseas professionals to participate in
this first-ever international meeting focussed on childhood obesity in
Hong Kong. We are inviting renowned scholars from overseas and China to
share with our local researchers, paediatricians, nurses,
physiotherapists, Chinese medicine practitioners, health and fitness
professionals, psychologists, social workers, biostatisticians,
nutritionists and dietitians, policy makers, teachers and students, and
other related professionals their insights.
