THCU CHWP Services and Supports: Regional Workshops & Consultations
Text Box: Regional WorkshopsAny coalition or agency in Ontario can be a
partner in a CWHP regional workshop. That means acting as hosts and
promoters of the event, as well as identifying and arranging local input and
content. We encourage hosts to promote outside their organization to
community partners and others in their region. Travel and material costs are
negotiated on an individual basis. We provide the facilitators at no cost.
We work with groups as small as 30 and as large as 50.
Text Box: Consultative Services THCU's Workplace Project provides
consultative services at minimal or no cost to Ontario workplace health
intermediaries. Consultations are telephone, internet and face-to-face
advice giving from our core consulting team or invited experts on planning,
implementing and evaluating workplace health promotion. THCU delivers two
types of consultations:
. Advice giving: short, usually one time contacts on any one topic
. Guided process: hands-on assistance for groups working through our defined
step models
THCU typically needs 2-3 months notice for an on-site sessions and 2-3 weeks
notice for a telephone or e-mail consultations. Regional workshop requests
are fulfilled on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested in
hosting a regional event or to request a consultation, please fill out a
service request form available online
