CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - Deadline May 22
2nd Symposium on Promoting Child and Youth Mental Health
The Atlantic Summer Institute on Healthy and Safe Communities (ASI) is
hosting its 2nd 'Symposium on Promoting Child and Youth Mental Health:
Moving Evidence to Action' on August 21-23, 2017 in Charlottetown, PEI. The
Symposium will gather community leaders, government representatives,
educators, health practitioners, families and youth to review evidence of
child and youth mental health issues in the region and to create
collaborative strategies to promote positive mental health in schools and
communities. The bilingual Symposium will build on the momentum from the
past 2 years of programming which focused on emerging evidence and best
practices that promote positive child and youth mental health in schools and
communities.
The clock is ticking! Submit an abstract to share a project/program! We're
accepting abstracts in French and/or English for 3 elements of the
Symposium:
* August 21 - Atlantic Community Showcase
* August 22 - Workshops (Exploring the Evidence: Presentations and
conversation)
* August 23 - Concurrent sessions (Innovations to promote child and youth
