FYI.
This work could really benefit from the health promotion community review.
Thanks,

Subject: The Perth Charter for Mental Health Promotion Survey

Dear Sir/Madam

I am working with the Clifford Beers Foundation and Prof. Rob Donovan (Mentally Healthy WA) to develop a Perth Charter for Mental Health Promotion. We are looking to get a greater international representation on the development of this charter and would like to invite yourself and your colleagues to review potential principles for inclusion in the Perth Charter by completing this anonymous online survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/7QLN26K).

The development of a Perth Charter for Mental Health Promotion was instigated by the organising committee for the 7th World Conference on the Promotion of Mental Health and Prevention of Mental and Behavioural Disorders: The 21st Century Approach to Mental Health acting on suggestions and preliminary discussions with various stakeholders.

The Perth Charter aims to act as a call to action, specify a direction for that action, and fulfil the role of an advocacy tool.

A draft Perth Charter will be available on the conference website (www.perth2012.org<http://www.perth2012.org>) from October for final comment before ratification at the conference held on 17-19 October 2012 in Perth, Western Australia.

You are also encouraged to forward this email to your networks in order to obtain as broad an input as possible.

This study has been approved by the Curtin University Human Research Ethics Committee. If needed, verification of approval can be obtained either by writing to the Curtin University Human Research Ethics Committee, Office of Research and Development, Curtin University of Technology, GPO Box U1987, Perth, 6845 or by telephoning +61 (0)8 9266 2784.

Kind regards
