In Bruce Chatwin's book _In Patagonia_ he makes the following
reference to one of the natives of Tierra del Fuego, by the name of
York Minster:

" ...he had an audience with William IV and Queen Adelaide; and,
if we believe Mark Twain, his colleague York Minster went to a Court
Ball at St JamesŐs in the costume of his country -- and emptied the
ballroom in two minutes."

(York Minster was a native of Tierra del Fuego who was captured
and taken to England circa 1830 to be "civilized".  He returned
to his native land several years later -- as related by Charles
Darwin in _Voyage of the Beagle_.)

Can anyone provide a reference for where Twain wrote about York Minster?
