Coincidentally, I was given a magnet with this quote on it and
wondered the same thing:  did Mark Twain actually say this?  I think
not.  It conflicts with some of the views I've read in which he
respects the ballot box, if not those who win the vote.  I was glad to
see the inquiry and hope someone can say with confidence whether or
not it is an accurate quote.
