Dear health promotion colleagues,

 

My colleague, Debi Fry, works in Edinburgh, Scotland and is focusing on a project to identify promising practices to address sexual abuse/sexual harassment/sexual bullying in school settings. She is looking for contacts with Canadians working in this or a similar area that she can talk with.

 

She is particularly interested in examples, curricula and programmes that address:

 

·         Overarching school policies

·         Prevention programmes/curriculum in school settings

·         Interagency work to prevent sexist and sexual bullying in school settings

·         Staff support, training and development on sexual bullying

·         Follow-up/referral systems and responding to the child or young person experiencing sexist and/or sexual bullying and/or 

·         Addressing behaviours of children and young people who engage in sexist and/or sexual bullying behaviour in school settings.
