Are you a woman living with
Type 2 Diabetes?
Do you often experience feelings of sadness or anxiety?

A research team at Women's College Hospital and Women's Health in Women's
Hands Community Health Center is offering a web-based group program to help
you cope better with diabetes.

What will I have to do?
Participate in a 12 week web-based group program that has been developed
specifically for women with Type 2 diabetes. We will ask you about how you
are feeling before the program starts and after it has ended.

How will my participation make a difference?
Your participation will help us to develop a new diabetes education program
that better allows diabetes staff to help patients cope with depression and
anxiety, and manage diabetes more effectively.

Where do I get more information?
If you are interested, please contact Cassandra Racco at (416) 323-6400
extension 4627 or email at [log in to unmask]

Participation in this project is completely voluntary. Your decision will
not affect your care in any way.
