Dennis,
I must register my objection to your comment about well-paid public health
workers.  I could comment on how it compares to other salaries but I feel
that this comment is inappropriate to this list.  It is my hope that rules
of etiquette for listserv contributions would prevent similar contributions
in the future.

I am getting the sense that you hold the public health community in disdain
and comments such as this are not likely to garner productive improvements
which might be facilitated through constructive dialogue on the issues.
