Bring your friends and spend an inspirational afternoon with four accomplished women!
Sharing, Learning and Helping each other- that's the goal of SPEAKING OF WOMEN 2002.
Whatever your goals, you'll be inspired as they share the ups and downs of their careers and lives. They'll share their perspectives on a wide range of business and social issues, including balancing work and family, following your bliss, taking care of "you", and being and becoming your "best" self.
Join us for a lively afternoon of discussion, as well as a silent auction, refreshments, networking opportunities and prizes for everyone! 
ERIN DAVIS- CHFI Radio Morning Show Host

Erin is one of the hosts of the popular CHFI radio morning show in Toronto. Along with her work on radio, Erin has also done a considerable amount of work in television over the past few years and most recently has appeared on her cable show called "The Erin Davis Show," on Rogers Television. In 2002, Erin was honoured by being named the year's first Chatelaine Women of Influence.


MARIAN BOTSFORD FRASER- Freelance Writer & Author
Marian Botsford Fraser is a freelance writer, broadcaster, and critic whose work has appeared in the Globe and Mail, Toronto Life, and the National Post. She is a long-time contributor to CBC Radio's Ideas program and has served as guest host for various CBC Radio programs. She is the author of Solitaire: The Intimate Lives of Single Women and is currently working on a collection of linked short stories. 



SANDRA LEVY- Olympic Athlete & Lawyer
Sandra was a member of the Canadian Olympic Field Hockey Team and competed in the 1992 and 1988 Olympics. A world-class athlete, she is a member of numerous sport and community related Boards. A lawyer by training, she was also a member of the Toronto 2008 Olympic Bid Committee. She is currently Manager of Corporate Human Resources Programs at Magna International.

AKELA PEOPLES, M.Ed.- Executive Director, Women in Motion Career Education

Akela is the Executive Director and co-founder of Women in Motion Career Education, a highly successful career program that has presented more than 70 motivational conferences across southern Ontario in the past 5 years. Akela inspires young women to realize that "the sky's the limit," in terms of their career choices.  She was also the youngest ever recipient of the 2002 YWCA Women of Distinction Award for Entrepreneurship.
