An exciting women's event on Saturday November 16, 2002:

Be the Best You Can Be!
CHFI Radio's Erin Davis Kicks off Speaking of Women.2002

An Afternoon of Inspiration for Women by Women

Join 4 accomplished women as they share their intimate stories of success and adversity. Like you, these women have faced difficulties in their career and personal lives and they will share their perspectives on balancing work and family realizing your dreams and being and becoming your best self.

Many women face difficult challenges every day. Scarborough Women's Centre helps them get the support they need to make positive changes in their lives.

"We had such positive response from our first Speaking of Women event in 2001; we knew we had to make it an annual event. Speaking of Women 2002 is a great opportunity to learn personal and career success strategies and hopefully implement some of them into your own life," says Lynda Kosowan, Executive Director, Scarborough Women's Centre.

Our speakers include: 98.1 CHFI morning radio show host and broadcaster, Erin Davis; Freelance Writer and Author, Marian Botsford Fraser; Olympic Athlete and Lawyer, Sandra Levy; and Women-In-Motion Career Education Executive Director, Akela Peoples.

Since 1982, Scarborough Women's Centre has helped thousands of women in their fight towards a happier, healthier life. The Centre does this by offering counseling and mentorship programs, courses and workshops designed to bring confidence and independence back into a woman's life.
