"ONDCP's Marijuana Initiative: Facts and Solutions"

Many youth think that marijuana is harmless. They feel if their friends
smoking marijuana, then it is cool. What young people don't realize is
marijuana has dangerous side effects. Marijuana impairs motor skills and
reduces your ability to do things that require coordination and

problems.

Please join Ivette Torres, National Coordinator, Recovery Month Campaign,
Center for Substance Abuse Treatment as she hosts: ONDCP's Marijuana
Initiative: Facts and Solutions, November 20, 2002 from 3-4:00 P.M. (EST).
This live event will explore the hidden truths about this commonly used
illicit drug and examine new treatment options. The panel will feature:
Scott Burns, Deputy Director, Office of National Drug Control Policy; Jean
Donaldson, Project Officer, CSAT Cannabis Youth Treatment Project; Dr. Frank
Tims, Professor, University of South Florida, Department of Psychiatry and
Science Advisor, Operation PAR Inc.; Tim Bradley, Chairman, U-Turn and
