Hello all,

Some time ago, someone on this list asked about physicians' treatment of obese children. I mentioned that The Alder Group was in the process of gathering their views on healthy active living. The Canadian Paediatric Society asked The Alder Group to develop a kit of materials to provide physicians with resources and information they could readily apply with their patients and their families. Before developing the kit, The Alder Group conducted research to assess paediatricians' knowledge of healthy active living (HAL), how they currently promote HAL, what new materials would be most useful, and who would be most likely to carry the messages forward. The results of that survey have been summarized in an article in Paediatrics and Child Health, and can be accessed through the home page of The Alder Group web site at www.aldergroup.com/home.html

I hope people find it useful.
