hi,
when someone decide to immigrate it is generally because the person is seeking
for better conditions of life; immigration is a great and hard decision. and
when immigrants leave their countries which are developping ones, and they come
in developped world they expect to find best conditions. unfortunately often it
is not the case. they arrive in a context where people are individualist
contrary to for example the african society where people live with very closely
solidarity despite the poverty. immigrants also face up to difficulty to find
job even when they have diploma, qualifications and experience in their field,
and so on... in summary, after some months of life in western countries, they
become insecure and all their illusions fall down. they feel a great
frustration and a lot of stress. they are like trapped. it become difficult and
even impossible to them to return in their countries; so they are condamned to
success in this context. I think that immigrants (especially those coming from
Africa) deception facing to their new social and economic situation, is the
main reason of the deterioration of their health status.
