The Government of the United States of America and the NicaSalud Federation  
presented this morning the Observatory on Sexual and Reproductive Health  
CONNECTION which is a new civil society space that collects, analyzes and  
disseminates information related to sexual and reproductive health of the  
Nicaraguan population.

The observatory will be managed by NicaSalud Federation and has the support  
of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through  
its DELIVER project.

The launch was chaired by Ambassador of the United States, Laura F. Dogu;  
the Chairman of the Board of NicaSalud, Dr. Pedro León Pérez; authorities  
of the Central American University – UCA -; NicaSalud member organizations  
and youth organizations; as well as agencies and media.
