Forwarded on behalf of Heather Ganshorn, librarian at Calgary Regional
Children's Hospital. I spoke with her about her request and recommended
some social determinants of health resources and contacts. She's heard
from some Australian contacts and found a couple of older resources in
Ontario (from DHCs), but not much else. Can you help out? Here's the
question:

A patron would would like to know whether health
districts/regions/authorities are involved in any way in housing issues
(i.e. advocating for affordable housing, producing position statements
on housing as a determinant of health, or any other involvement with
housing initiatives such as low-income housing). She is interested in
any such involvement in North America, the UK, Europe, or Australia and
New Zealand.
Since a lot of this activity may not be published in the literature, if
anyone who knows of such initiatives could refer to the relevant web
sites/grey literature, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
