Experience the Circle of Health: Transforming Approaches to Collaboration
February 14 - 28, 2017
https://quaichlearningcentre.wordpress.com/
The Quaich's upcoming online workshop series delves into the practice and value of the
Circle of Health as a tool that engages collaborators, creates a shared language for
stakeholders, and promotes innovative solutions to complex issues. The Circle of Health
recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, and was a key framework used at the 6th Global
Forum on Health Promotion, an international event that took place in Charlottetown, PEI.
The Circle of Health was recently profiled by CBC News:
"The Circle of Health is a visual depiction of everything that is required to create health in
communities, families and individuals. The colourful concentric circles draw inspiration
from a compass rose, an Aboriginal medicine wheel, the Ottawa Charter for Health
Promotion and the determinants of health. It is used in at least 20 countries."
