Brussels January 25, 1999
To whom it may concern,
A team of researchers of two Belgian universities ( Université Libre de
Bruxelles and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven ) are presently performing a
study in Belgium in the field of mental health related to 'the integrated
service networks or organised delivery systems' ( in french the so-called
'circuits de soins en santé mentale).
We would be very interested and grateful to get information from other
European countries in relation to this topic : references of articles, books
or resource persons (*) concerning :
1) Recent material related to changes in mental health policy.
2) Written documents relative to experiences of mental health care in the
community ( facilitating factors, obstacles)
3) Data and figures concerning the population, beds, psychiatrists,
psychiatric hospitals,
public and private mental health instances…..
4) Reported experiences with integrated service network or other innovative
initiatives in
the mental health sector.
(*) e-mails and internet adressess are most welcome
Many thank in advance to those who could help us.
