Evaluation: Where do we start?
The Canadian Breast Cancer Network is pleased to invite you and your colleagues to attend an Evaluation Webinar on Wednesday November 25, 3009 at 1:00PM Eastern Standard Time. The Webinar will be facilitated by Patsy Beattie-Huggan, who is president of the Quaich in Charlottetown PEI.
Program Evaluation is an organized method of collecting and analyzing information about program activities, characteristics and outcomes to measure program effectiveness and provide input into program improvement. This Webinar is intended to increase your effectiveness in planning for and participating in evaluation by:
* Increasing your familiarity with the language and process of evaluation
* Increasing the value of developing a well thought out plan
* Increasing your skill in participating in an evaluation
You will learn:
* How to decide whether to evaluate or not
* Different evaluation approaches and methods
* How to design an evaluation
* How to analyze the information
* How to report the evaluation findings

Previous evaluation projects of facilitator Patsy Beattie-Huggan include the Atlantic Breast Cancer Information Kit Evaluation; PEI Breast Cancer Partnership Evaluation and the2005 World Conference on Breast Cancer Evaluation, Her previous planning projects include the Navigational Guide for Advanced Breast Cancer, the PEI Falls Prevention Coalition and the Atlantic Summer Institute on Healthy and Safe Communities, which she has coordinated since 2004.
