thank for the info [see below] ... for your information, I am doing a review of
the relationship between structural factors (social determinants) and diabetes
mellitus.  This is a very under considered area of inquiry -- like heart disease
but even more neglected -- where evidence is increasing  that material and
psychosocial circumstances contribute to its incidence and outcome.

any ideas or relevant research studies on this theme would be appreciated.
