The North Bay & District Health Unit has two job postings for a Community
Health Promoter. The first one is a permanent Full-Time position (Job
#PH/2004/031) – 35 Hours Per Week. The other is a Temporary Full-Time
position (Job #PH/2004/034) - 35 hours per week up to Dec. 31, 2004 (subject

Under the direction of a Program Manager, the Community Health Promoter
works with businesses/workplaces, community agencies and groups, volunteers,
health professionals and health unit staff to plan, develop, implement and
evaluate a range of health promotion programs under the requirements of the
Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention Program.  The successful candidate
also supports related programs within the Family Health and Infectious
Disease Programs.

Closing date for both positions is November 5, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. Please
