Ashley and CLICK4HP colleagues

I am not sure about evidence re Facebook but there is considerable
research related to the effectiveness of networks and communities of
practice and knowledge sharing. Also, each of the 6 National
Collaborating Centres for Public Health http://www.nccph.ca have or are
planning to develop networks for knowledge sharing. You may find one
specific to your program (Aboriginal Health, Determinants of Health,
Infectious Diseases, Environmental Health, or Healthy Public Policy)
area or try the NCCMT (for Methods and Tools related to knowledge
transfer and exchange www.nccmt.ca).

As well, I have recently been introduced to LinkedIn - a professional
networking application similar to Facebook - it might be worth a look.

Subject: Research on Facebook

Hello,

I am looking for any evidence, research or success stories about the use
of Facebook as a marketing tool for increasing program awareness and as
a point for information exchange. If anyone has anything on this topic,
please email me.

Thanks,
Ashley
