*New Networks*

Data Use Network (DataUseNet) has been launched! In January, MEASURE
Evaluation, the Health Metrics Network, and the East, Central and Southern
African Health Community co-organized the global symposium *From Data to
Impact: Using Health Data for Results* so that professionals could exchange
successful experiences in improving health programs and policies through the
use of quality health data and information. In order to continue the
networking, sharing and learning with colleagues that began in Arusha, a
listserv, DataUseNet has been created. The overall goal of the listserv is
to foster a global network that supports dialogue among health professionals
working to improve the use of data to improve health programs and policies.

Visit http://www.cpc.unc.edu/measure/networks/datausenet to more
information! To sign up for the listserv, send an email to [log in to unmask],
leave the subject field blank, and in the body of the message, type
“subscribe DataUseNet.”

Child Status Network (ChildStatusNet) has been launched! In March, MEASURE
Evaluation hosted a Child Status Index Regional Conference so that service
providers to OVCs could exchange successful practices in implementing
MEASURE Evaluation’s Child Status Index tool. Participants decided that a
community of practice would be the best way to continue exchanging knowledge
about the CSI and its implementation.

Visit http://www.cpc.unc.edu/measure/networks/childstatusnet for more
information! To join the listserv, send an email to
[log in to unmask] type “join childstatusnet.”
