Hi Madeline,
This is my area of work
there are oodles of tools and guidelines around so it can be confusing at time. The most commonly used or some derivation is the Merseyside Guidelines by Impact in Liverpool. The most recent is from New Zealand - HIA an Idea whose time has come.
take a look at
HIA wiki

Mental wellbeing impact assessment - this is being piloted on the Liverpool 08 Caqpital of culture

HIA gateway

Impact

there is also a practitioner email network I set up a few years ago now managed by andy pennington at Impact Liverpool. Email him at [log in to unmask] or go to www.jiscmail.ac.uk and search for HIA
Let me know if you have any problems down loading tools as I have most of them on my home pc as pdfs
hope this helps
