Subject: [MMHRC] information request
Dear Colleagues,
For a project led by Dr. Laurence Kirmayer for the Public Health Agency Canada, we are doing a preliminary scoping survey of work going on in Canada on cultural adaptation of mental health promotion interventions for Aboriginal peoples or immigrant/refugee populations.
We are interested in any and all current or recent projects that have adapted an intervention for one population to a different ethnocultural group. The aim is to identify best practices which can be used to develop an online resource and toolkit to facilitate cultural adaptation.
If you are aware of a project, please send us contact information so that we can followup to collect some basic descriptive information.
Many thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
Joshua Moses and Chrissi Galanakis
